What is Davidi Development?
Davidi Development, sadly as of right now, is a single person. I am a hobbyist who makes RPGs in my spare time.
Although I use simpler programs such as RPG Maker, I tend to go above and beyond most hobbyists. As of right now
I am currently a hobbyist, but it is my dream that Davidi Development will one day be a real company.
If we want to, can we join your group?
Yes, but don't come here expecting to be paid just yet. This is pure hobbyist stuff, but if you wish to help me,
I would appreciate the help. I am especially looking for help in graphics. The person who would have been my
graphics man, nicknamed "Zyro," is developing on platforms that don't require programming, so he and I aren't
exactly developing on the same platform. But if you wish to join, fill out
a form and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
So, you're not a real programmer?
As of right now, no. I do plan to take a class on Java this year. (It's going to be my junior year.)
So, you have no real skills, technically?
Again, no. My brother believes that if I actually learn the stuff, I could be a very capable programmer. He encouraged
me to read through a college book, "Object Oriented Programming." It took me several years to get interested in it.
We lost the book before I got to finish it. I got up to databases. (Most of it I already knew, but it was helpful to
have the knowledge."
Can we try any of your games?
Of course! Davidi Development, as of now, is non-profit. However, I cannot actually host the games on this site, and
you will need to have RPG Maker installed to run these games. Follow that link in the
last sentance. If any of the four direct links do not work, please fill out the form. When you get RPG Maker, please
go ahead to the game menu. Note that not all the games in the future will be on RPG
Maker.
Sorry I cannot host RPG Maker myself; it's a 20 MB file. Now, if I was to host my games on here, chances
are they'd go bad in a few days, because I'm using free angelfire settings, so I will have a form set up so I will be emailed
automatically.
